One event that most Recruits look forward to in Boot Camp is the puegel sticks. That’s when the Recruits fight each other with two oversized looking Q-tips- except the Q-tips aren’t soft at all. The Platoon competes amongst each other. Then we fight the other Platoons.
It was a well known fact that Pvt. Peterson and I didn’t get along. Seven weeks had passed and we managed to stay out of each others way. The animosity was still there. Time for round two.

Puegel Sticks is almost like boxing. It takes a great deal of wind and speed. I barley had either skill, but I’m strong and cocky.
Peterson tore me a new asshole.
I’m running around in a circle trying to slap Peterson with this giant Q-tip. Every time I swung, Peterson would counter swing and knock me senseless.
That’s it! … Time to put this muthafucka in a headlock.
I grabbed Peterson neck and tried to turn his face blue. The other Recruits rushed in and broke up the fight.
I ended up getting smoked for bad sportsmanship I can’t wait to go to A.I.T.
I’m going to fuck Peterson up
